If you require urgent medical help during the hours of 18.30pm – 8.00am the Out of Hours Medical Service can be contacted by calling the telephone number: 111. Your call will be answered by a triage team who may offer advice, a home visit or ask you to attend the centre at Bassetlaw Hospital.

This service is a service for urgent medical issues i.e.

– The illness has occurred or deteriorated rapidly or

– The patient cannot wait until 8.00am the next day

In the interest of those who are seriously ill, please think carefully before dialling the emergency out-of-hours number.  

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

If the problem is an emergency; Call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
